Love is...

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

I Corinthians 13:4-8a (NIV)

A relationship would not last long if too many emotions is involved. Knowledge and knowing each other is the KEY element of a healthy relationship. Same applies to commitment, a relationship without equal commitment from each other will never ever sustain even though love and sex is accompanied, a strong and lasting relationship will be destroyed if based on these 2 things only.

hhmmm... very true i believe.. especially the part where you say about love should not be involved with too much emotions.. i guess with too much emotions.. the relationship can be destroyed.. or become distant.. so true, so true!

but is there a wrong way of loving someone?

What if the knowledge you were looking for is not what you had in mind and in fact the total opposite? Do you label that as fate and destiny or work out a compromise? Then do you still have a healthy relationship or no relationship at all?

I feel there are many ways of love that could make another party feel uncomfortable or feeling "guilty" for being love... but that do not consider as WRONG at all...these can easily being solve by communication... doesnt' it?

For me the only fault in love is to love a person who do not deserve your love and do not appreciate your love at all...

but anyways... i guess you are right about loving someone who does not really deserve them or appreciate them... but it is sad if that is the case...
