Ways to cleer up when you feeling blue

Was so depress just now cause I don't like to stay alone at home and do nothing, especially during the weekend... I wanted to go out but do not know where to go... Then I found this when I was surfing the net...

Ways to cleer up when you feeling blue:

Exercise

The minute you start feeling foul, don your exercise gear and hit the park for a round of jogging. Or just switch on the music and get moving.

Dress Up

True, this may be one of those days that you don't even feel like brushing your hair, much less dressing up, but push yourself. Wear a bright outfit, put on your make up and tell yourself you look like a million bucks. Don't stop there, start believing it! Pretty soon you'll start feeling it.

Music

Switch on to FM. Listening to the DJ's yak will give you a feeling of connectivity to the outside world.

Set a Goal

Tell yourself you're going to finish that novel that's going to make you famous by the end of the year/month/week or that you're going to lose those inches off your hips/thighs/butt, and start working on it right away.

Connect

If you don't put a letter in your outbox, you're not going to get one in. So send off an email to a dear friend who you haven't heard from in ages.

Shop

I don't know about you, but a clinging black velvet dress will give me just the buzz I need. Those diamond earrings you've craved for? NOW is the time to get them. Forget about all those anti-wrinkle creams. When a woman is older, good posture, exercise and sparkling, real jewellery are the only things that are going to make a difference to her looks.

Movie Watch

Surf the channels for a funny movie or serial and laugh your blues away. Highly recommended: view with ice cream.

Spring-cleaning

Tidy your cupboard or dust the dresser. Focussing on the task at hand will help take your mind off your worries.

Get a Haircut

Or maybe just a trim?

Rearrange the Furniture

Use a little creativity. The change can work wonders to boost your flagging spirits.

Bake

Enter the kitchen and bake up a storm. Chocolate chip cookies, pineapple truffle or lemon tarts will send your spirits soaring!

Sex

An orgasm is not like fat. Your body can't store it. You need to keep getting a new fix. So get one.

*I actually tried some of it before (the blue ones)... and it actually did work:) The one I love to do when I am depress is actually clean up my room and the house...

Fortunately... Drinking is not one of it... But, why people tends to drink more when they are depress... mmmm... it doesn't help but get worst...

I'm lost...

I am so lost right now...
Whenever I'm bored... I will just keep wondering what is the reason I'm living in the world...
And it ended up getting more and more depress...

Lots of complaints from Miss Jocelyn

.... continued from previous post

Unfortunately... Something bad happen on the way back... I always have bad experience in Birmingham... I remember there's once I went to Birmingham with BB and Ruby in CNY... Gosh... I got no idea why I didnt bring my Young Person Card with me... I only realized that when they ask me to show it to them which they normally don't do that in the exit way... and normally they dont even look at the ticket as long as you give them a train ticket then you may go...Then there is this guy who ask for the Young Person Card... Oh my god... I forgot to bring it! Then I was trying to prove that I actually have it just that I forgot to bring it... gosh... they are such a big company and they don't have some database or code or number for those who has paid £24 a year for their Young Person Card! Then they want me to pay the full amount (£17) again even thought I actually have the ticket just that it's under student price (£11)... it's so... unreasonable... in fact... I always feel that... it's so unethical to ask student to pay for the young person card which is £24 in order to get a discount! If you wanna offer student a discount.. then just do it... why wanna pay £24 for a year discount? Somemore it's not £24 for life... it's just a year... ridiculous! Plus it doesn't make any sense at all...

Ok then... back to today... to be honest... I admit that today we did make some mistake... We were early when we reach the train station... We know that our train to back to Cheltenham was suppose to be at 7.30pm... But there was a 7.12pm... But, we book the ticket online... We aren't sure that whether our ticket is an open ticket or not... But we were tired and exhausted plus there is enough time for use to check and Ruby feels quite positive that it's a return ticket... then we just rushed to jump into the 7.12pm train... then... AHHHH... the lady who check our ticket said... you shouldn't to be in this train... we were like... WHAT? SHIT... but... we do have a ticket... and there are still plenty of places there... that should be fine right... please... we are just a student... dont fine us... haih... The lady was harsh to us and no sympathy at all... Everything is just pay pay pay pay pay!! Gosh... what's wrong with it! Just 18 minutes... and now we have to pay extra £16.50 for 2 people... why don't just give us a warning... I swear I wont do it next time...:( Then don't know why... the payment can't go through for both of my HSBC cards! The lady keep saying it's my fault! WHAT! I just use it yesterday and it's all fine and I never have problem with my cards! BUT, anyhow Ruby's card did go through and she uses that to prove that it's my fault... sigh... I just give her a look and said... "whatever..." :( :( :(

My mom used to tell me that Western people are very relax on everything... Yes... They really did... I remember when I first came here in 2006... Everything seems perfect to me... Buses is free for students in Cheltenham as long as you show your student ID... and they barely look at it... I remember when I was in London... there is once we were taking bus to go somewhere... somehow the driver asked us not to pay and save the money... Then when there are shops that give 10% to students as well... They seldom check the name and expired date! But... What's going on in these 2 years? The fare for buses in Cheltenham increased from zero to 50pence then from 50pence to 70pence... and I heard that even Uni Bus will charge student for 50pence as well! Gosh... Aren't they suppose to be free? Students are paying £8,000 over pound a year and you have the campus all around and now you want the students to pay for the 'Uni Bus'??? Then they were there spending time to check the photo and expired date... sigh... relax a bit la...

Then yesterday.. I went to topshop to buy a cloth... I happily showing my ACCA student ID in order to get a 10% discount... Guess what??? This shopkeeper said... "WE CAN'T ACCEPT A STUDENT ID WITHOUT AN EXPIRING DATE"... OH MY GOD!! WHAT IS GOING ON? ok fine... 10%... I DON'T WANT IT!!! so ketekut la these people... if wanna give benefit to student then just give la... why wanna use so many reason to avoid giving out the student discount???

OK... finished my complaints... slightly relieve now... sorry if this post make the readers uncomfortable... but I can't help it... too many things i feel it's not fair... just wanna let it out a bit:P

Basically, I think I'm not used to not be a student... There are so many extra fees that I need to pay... and in fact I am a part time student! I am still a student... why can't I get back all the benefit... I dont want to pay all the council tax, rates and whatever... I am still a student... it's just part time and in fact... Part time students are more suppose to get the benefit... I no longer have my parents support for my tuition fees... I pay that with my small little monthly salary and my savings... why I wanna give more burden to me.... :( :( :( I wanna complaint......:( but to who...?

Trip to Birmingham

Hush... Finally I'm home... Woke up at 6am this morning... went to Birmingham for Taxation class... this is my second taxation class... from 9.30am to 4.30pm... The first class was not so tiring and in fact it was actually quite fun... but! today... I am exhausted! oh my god... when the class finished... I felt my head is so heavy and can't even breath properly... so we decided to stay in Kaplan a while just to relax a bit before we go to the town center for the yummy food:P

Haha... so here comes the food...

My Hokkien Mee... I ate this two weeks ago in another restaurant
and I decided to try new thing for this week... but... eventually I still ordered Hokkien Mee... hehe

Ruby's Duck and Roast Pork rice... She didn't finish it because... she order two dish... so greedy...

Ruby's Fried Kueh Teow... Sorry I didnt realised that I didnt take the picture properly... was too desperate to start eating the food...Honestly, it looks much appetizing than this picture:P

Ruby was so greedy... and in fact... She always order a lots when she is hungry but at the end she couldn't finish it! We went to this restaurant call THE VILLAGE in china town. Their service is super good! I loves it... I been there 3 time... So far they never charge us for chinese tea even thought the menu there written chinese tea £0.60... good good good... then their service is super fast... best place to go when you are hungry... good manners... reasonable price... and they offer various food range which include Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand...

-TO BE CONTINUED-

Friday? That's fast! Gosh.. Soon it will be another month end again... hahaha... the best thing of month end is... SALARY!!! And guess what! I got pay rise! HuRRayyyyyy! £8.50 an hour! I am happy enough even thought it is just a pound :) And guess what! Coincidentally, Ruby got 4% pay rise as well! YES! She deserve it! She is really a very valuable and good employee... not like me:P hehe...BUT... Of course I deserve my pay rise as well :P

Tomorrow going to Birmingham for Taxation class... This time we are going by train cause it's Saturday class... YES! Can save money from renting a car :) But then have to wake up super early to catch the train:( hopefully the weather wont be so cold and please do not rain please... Planing to have dinner in Birmingham... hahaha... I started thinking what to order since Monday... Can't wait to eat all the Malaysian dishes...

Ruby, BB and me went for movie again on Tuesday... It's actually not bad to be a Mcdonald's employee... Cineworld offer student price plus buy 1 get 1 free ticket for McDonald's employee! haha... so each of us just pay £2.25 ! Same price with GSC! Very Dai :) We watched Dorian Gray... mmmmm.... I personally don't really like it... the story is quite meaningful... but I just dont like they seem like purely use sex to express everything... not very comfortable after watching it... Unfortunately, G-force dont have show at night time... I wanna watch G-force!!! Hope Sunday morning will have the show... Maybe watch with Ruby...

BB went for a 3 days 2 nights work... Hopefully he is doing fine... nono... I am sure that he will be fine... I prepared 2 breakfast and 2 dinner box for him with full of my heart... hehe... I am sure he will loves it cause there are many interesting things inside which he loves the most... He regretted saying Yes to his boss actually... cause this time his friend is not going with him so basically he is alone... plus the school starts on Monday... But, I am glad that he went because of he dont want to say NO to his boss in last minute... I absolutely agree:) I'm glad that you become more and more responsible...B... I will support you here... I am sure you are in the right track and dont worry... I will always be there for you... Eat well and sleep well K? Miss you here...

ACCA

Finally I registered under ACCA and started my F6 Taxation class in FTC in Birmingham. But, I am totally... totally... totally broke...

I thought it's a good new for me as I got 5 exemptions from ACCA and I only left 8 papers to complete. But.. who knows the 5 papers exemption will cost me £330! oh my god... Then... to register under ACCA cost me £66pa... Then, tuition fees for 1 paper in FTC cost me £450!!! And that's only for 5 classes and each class is from 9.30 to 4.30pm... Besides... I have to go all the way to birmingham... ok... that's fine... but! There is no early train or bus on Sundays to go Birmingham... that's a really shit for me... finally... the only choice is to rent a car... which will cost around £70 for 2 days because we have to rent it on Saturday and return it on Monday as they don't do business on Sunday...

So... what's next? Revision class... and Revision class cost a fortune! Just a 2 days revision and they dare to charge £380 for the 2 days revision!!! haha... I really couldn't afford at all... but... from the price I really can see how important is the revision class is...

Then... Post Study Working permit is even worst... It is £500 to apply... I'm broke... broke... totally broke...

Ok... after all the compliant... wanna share some experience of studying in FTC in Birmingham... No doubt... it's really a very good institution... 9.30am to 4.30pm... I suppose to get sleepy and tired for such a long hours class like this... but no! I didnt sleep sleep and in fact, the time flies and I have the feeling like I am finally LEARNING something useful... Haha...

Fridayyyyy

Wow... It's Friday again...
It been so busy in August and I presume September would also a busy month...
There is so many things to blog so many things to say...
Coming soon... :)

My first 3D experience

Haha... First time watching 3D!!!
And guess what!
This is also my first time walking out from the cinema in just less than half an hour after the movie start!!
It's not that I don't enjoy the 3D effect and in fact I love it so much!! I was so regret that why didn't I try it earlier!!!
And.. the reason why I walk out is because the movie I was watching is FINAL DESTINATION!!!
Oh my god... I didn't watch the previous few series and I don't know where the hell I dare to say yes to Bernard to watch this series. Haha.. Maybe just because he said it's 3D...
And the consequences of that is me walking out from the cinema and wasted 2 tickets! Alamak... Sorry ... Don't know why I just can't see people die or any accident... useless la me... haih...
But, I wanna watch UP in 3D!!!! Can't wait till October....
